Follow Actions - it happens in the middle of the clip...why?
Follow Actions - it happens in the middle of the clip...why?
hi,
this is the problem:
- i have set up a few clips - no warping - i want every clip to play NEXT when ends
no luck - the clips that are longer then 1 bar plays ends in the middle (or a little before their end) and plays NEXT clip... why?
maybe i missed something but can't find the solution
where is the problem?

Re: Follow Actions - it happens in the middle of the clip...why?
You specify when the follow action occurs manually (1 bar, half a bar, etc)...there is no way to specify a follow action for "after clip ends" AFAIK.
So you need to make sure you have input the right time to wait until the follow action takes place.

Re: Follow Actions - it happens in the middle of the clip...why?
check the lenght of your clip and then put the same time on follow action time and thats all
Re: Follow Actions - it happens in the middle of the clip...why?
thnx for the quick answers to you all.
i have discover this method and it solves the problem but it's not the perfect solution.
first you have to do it manually - i work with the 85 small piano clips!!!!
second, when the clip is not warped you can't specify the same point - it should be possible in seconds or samples (you can do this only in beats, bars 16ths...)
i have spent an hour chceking the approx. points and write it down in follow actions window - why there is no just "after clip ends" option?
Live would be easier

Re: Follow Actions - it happens in the middle of the clip...why?
Select all 1 bar loops and can change actions for all at the same time, do the same for 2 and 4 and 8 and whatever.
That's assuming you have a specified length on the loops.

It's a much-requested feature. Have a look in the Feature Requests forum section and feel free to bump that thread.praecox wrote:...why there is no just "after clip ends" option?

there is no loops - there is no warpingbeatpoet wrote:Select all 1 bar loops and can change actions for all at the same time, do the same for 2 and 4 and 8 and whatever.

every clip is different length... that's the problem
if the clip is 1.1.467 - you can't specify the follow action point automatically
just experiment with the CLOSEST values as posssible - it's ok in most cases but not perfect.
