OP-1 is made by a group called Teenage audio engineering if I remember right. One of those guys used to work at Elektron, should be a really interesting product.

Sweet! A new reason to use the power switch on the Snow.
Re: NAMM 2010 - Any Rumors?
well UA has announced another partnership. this time with Dunlop/MXR. no surprise here!
however, will the plugs in be as expensive as they normally are or as inexpensive as the pedals themselves are?
Hooray... I'm 1000!!!!!

Re: NAMM 2010 - Any Rumors?
I've been borrowing that similar Edirol keyboard that has the soundcard built in from a buddy for a few months because my Ozonic is dead. If the PCR-M1 is anything like the one with the built-in soundcard (and I'd be willing to bet they're identical)... save your money! The thing looks cool and it looks like a great design, but the reality is that it plays horribly. It's velocity sensitive, but just barely. The tone bend wheel thing sounds like an on/off switch with the pitch changes. The thing just sucks. I tried the soundcard once out of curiosity and it was the worst sounding thing I'd ever heard.necho wrote:Exactly - the PCR-M1 but with proper mod and pitch.Leon Tricker wrote:Like the Edirol PCR-M1, but better?necho wrote:I want a slim 25 key controller keyboard with proper pitch and mod wheels, 8 rotary encoders and half-decent build-quality. I bet no-one releases one though.
Might have to go for the PCR-M1 anyway though.... its the closest to what I'm after...
PS- congrats McQ. You're real now.

and for those that wanted a new edirol keyboard. cakewalk just announced a new line of them. not sure if they are any different than the previous ones.
