Cycling '74 forums and knowledge base still in the 90's?

Post by Mr F » Mon Jan 11, 2010 11:18 pm

Anyone else feel the same?

I think there could be vast improvements to their online/local help documentation.
Think I must be spoilt by what the online/local MSDN library has to offer me as a developer.

(Max itself is rather powerful though and cant really complain about that  )
Helpful online tool: Music Calculator

Setup
Ableton Suite 8.2.5
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit
2.83ghz Quad Core
6GB ram
RME Fireface 400 (Fw) 3.047
Novation Launchpad
Novation Remote SL MKII
NI Maschine 1.5
Focusrite Liquid Mix 3.0 (Firewire)

not just having the entire manual accessable from the help menu, or tutorials (which are editable when you open the demonstration patch)
and the fact that you can click on any object and get help for that box with a simple shortcut shift-apple-H ( but also that that help file is editable) and it gives options for similiar objects you may want to learn about.
all in all the best help support ive ever had to deal with, (except maybe ableton of course  )

and then there is the extensive and helpful community forums
Anything at my disposal..
