my first post please be kind just got launchpad questions

hello everyone

first i should say i've been a long time "lurker" up in here/
for whatever reason i never had felt so compelled as to join the forum/

i recently acquired novation launchpad, figured it was as good a time as any
to register in ableton.com forum/
ableton live has always been amazing
the launchpad is very inspiring and it's got me thinking in new ways/

some of you are further along than me
having become very familiar with launchpad/
i have made some cool discoveries with it as well
and i intend to share and discuss them/

i have some questions about ableton live and not just in regards to launchpad/
now i go to sleep though and tomorrow i'll check for replies or feedback/

so what you're saying is you've previously used a cracked version of Live and now that you bought the Launchpad, you have a legit copy of Live Lite so you could actually register it on Ableton.com!?!?

my first question is pertaining to clips quantize/
i would like to be able to launch clips so the start is locked to main tempo
but ends immediately when toggled off/
there may be more than one way to do this?/
