So's That It?

Is that the end of NAMM news? I mean, I know the event carries on for a few more days, but do the individual companies/manufacturers post their new products on their site at the onset of the event? Do different companies present on different days? I'm just surprised Yamaha and M-Audio slept through everything.

Usually by Friday most of the news comes out. I know Behringer was supposed to have 50 new products, no real news from them yet.

They're all listed on the site. Mainly PA stuff by the looks of it... http://www.behringer.com/EN/home.aspx

isn't the winter NAMM typically more boring than the summer NAMM? less stuff in general, fewer companies?

Meh, snore. Seems like most NAMM's are boring these days. Who thinks half this stuff up?

Oh well, the new Virus OS is the bright spot for me, that looks really tasty (and free). Kinda curious to see what the new Omnisphere iPhone app does too.

i like that they are 50 "ground breaking" new products

"wait, so this speaker, am i saying that right? speaker? well anyway, it can make it so i can hear music? this is all so confusing to me"

the UMX250 looks like it might fit my price/footprint requirements though

Looked through news. Not very exciting. Only exception might be APC20 but I already have a Launchpad.
Liked new Ableton-Serano announcement. :)
I would have expected behringer to assault the market with new controllers. Not yet.

A wild guess but I suspect Ableton may have held back on announcing a new version of live because of the issues they have had recently.
