Snow Leopard and "discontinued" NI apps- No worky?

Post by Silverfish » Wed Jan 20, 2010 10:58 pm

So now that Snow Leopard has been out for a bit, and seems most things have updated drivers, etc, I'm contemplating the upgrade to Snow Leopard (from Leopard). However, I don't want to upgrade if Snow Leopard is going to break all of my old NI apps. Some, like B4, are confirmed to work, but I thought maybe someone here could give a run down...

Vokator?
Guitar Rig 3?
Spektral Delay?
Akoustik Piano?

Also, anyone successfully running Traktor 3.4.1 on Snow Leopard?

Thanks

Guitar Rig works...
Akoustik Piano works...
Traktor works...

Didn't test the other 2 because I don't have them...

Battery 3, FM8, Massive, Absynth 4 and Pro 53 work for me on 10.6.2 and Live 8.1.1.

Cool. Thanks, guys.

So now just worrying about Vokator and Spektral Delay. It's a shame they've discontinued these, as they're really neat (but, admittedly, very niche).

Thanks again!

Traktor 3 crashes incessantly. You have to go to Traktor Pro - there was an official announcement that Snow Leopard and Traktor 3 don't work together well by NI that I had found when I was wondering why it always crashed.

Other than that I've been using FM8, Absynth and Massive and haven't had an issue with those.
