I hope this fixes the issues I have been having with UAD Cards on my mac as well. Sounds like i tmight due to the general Au bugfix. . .

well, they sort of do,.

Adding the Uad fatso causes some latency, their tech support say it's definitely ableton, which makes sense as it would have been widely reported if it was on all platforms.

Boo, it's not a lot either, seemingly just a few samples.

not had time to test extensively, but, if you turn it off using the on off button that live provides for each plug then the groove of the track i was working on changes.

As I said its not a lot but it's definite;y there.

I haven't posted this in the beat bugs forum as it doesn;t seem like that is active anymore??

8.1.2b3 crashed maybe 1 time during 3 days working.
This new beta vesion crashes every 30 min here, and i didn`t chance my setup.

At first this version crashed more than any 8.1.betas and even 8.1.1.

However, after a few days I'm not sure what happend but it has not crashed. Not in the last 3 days.

I feel weird saying that like it's a major plus of software, "It hasn't crashed in 3 days," but it has got my hopes up a wee bit.

Parameters (in gui) moving slow when adjusting them in some 3th party plugs, (cambridge uad, alloy) ( tested so far)

Update,

Ableton is sometimes reporting different buffer sizes to the UAD cards. Usually a full restart sorts it out.

This release has been crashing randomly when loading groove templates. Not sure if I can reproduce it.

Hi all,

please remember to send us the.alp files Live creates on your desktop when restarted after a crash to beta@ableton.com if you encounter issues with this beta. They contain valuable information for us even if you cannot reproduce a crash reliably. If you have been experiencing a crash without Live creating such a crash .alp, you can create it manually by choosing "Do Bug Reporting Snapshot" from the "Help"-menu.

Lately things have been much better.

8.1.2b4 is running many hours very smoothly here with no glitches and no crashes - subjectively best 8.1.x beta so far...

(MBP OS X 10.6.2 + MOTU Ultralite)

Anyone having issues rewiring it? It just hangs whenever I launch it as a slave to Logic. Worked fine in 8.1.1.
