OT:Cool screensaver!!

Hi guys,
I juz installed the new & rad Reason 2.5 screensaver from Propellerheads website!! It's great!!........& you know what i'm thinking again,don't you?........How about a Live 4 screensaver on top of the Live 4 wallpaper i asked for earlier? hee hee!

as far as i'm concerned, my politics are: no screensaver, no wallpaper. all this is not very CPU-friendly (at least the screensaver ).

Yeah and people who use Fender Rhodes are sooo 1974 it's not even funny.

But I agree a screensaver can cause problems on a daw, it's best not to use one. But I do have 500kb of memory to spare for wallpaper.

switch off the screensaver when you're doing serious things. most screensaver will take a lot of cpu. sure.

a wallpaper will just take a tiny bit of your ram, nothing serious.

although it's still considered as 'needed', I never experienced performance gains in XP by switching off services and stuff.

yes, I love Reason too. why would I stop loving something which has always worked and never crashed on my system? it's still mindblowing good.

Man,I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT REASON!!! I'm a drummer & i programme my stuff with Reason. Thanks for the info on CPU though!!.......
