Rendered output affected by choice of buffersize ?

Post by Laura_Live » Fri Feb 19, 2010 5:04 pm

Might be a stupid question but does the same arrangement's rendered output file sound different if rendered at different buffer sizes, say 32 compared to 1024 ?

No. The buffer size only determines how the realtime performance of Live occurs. When you render, it's all done at the fastest possible time based on the CPU calculations that need to occur. If you have a lot going on, the CPU will render only as fast as it can to get the job done.
