so if i have
live lite
live suite 8 upgrade from lite

do i need to install lite first or can i just enter both keys into online and just install the upgrade?

there is no upgrade install file

you just bought live 8 at the upgrade price

Just install Suite and authorize it! ... no need to install Lite version first... all you needed was the key to upgrade to Suite.

When ever I click on the authorize file I get an error
(I am trying to authorize it off line)

invalid responce from server

where as duh I'm not connected to the Internet

Go in your account from another computer, then you will see an "offline authorization" button.
