ive just managed to get one of ebay :D . Been waiting for a while now for one to reappear :D
Seems like a good one :D Not much use etc etc.
When you say interaction is limited what do you mean ?
i,m only looking for motorized fader movement tracking , solo ,mute buttons and fx or pan transport jog wheel etc etc .
Principle idea behind the purchase is to US2400 like an anologue mixer and use it like an another instrument jamming withsolo fader movements mutes etc etc.

Oh and what operating system are you using it on win or mac ?

best
:D J

lf i remember correctly i think i've got mine set up in mackie mode and it just works like it's suppose to, I can't remember even how I set it up, got the info off of the tascam user forum and it was like a couple of button presses to select some template, then making the midi assignments in lives preffs accordingly and after that it's worked every since, no problems, no hiccups, no way..... i love this thing
soon as I turn live on the 2400 just springs into action, super compliant no need for special drivers. I think I might be using the sonar template cause i got it when I was using sonar, but live works perfectly

This is how I got most functions to work:
https://www.ableton.com/answers/tascam- ... leton-live
(fader input and movement, select, solo, mute, channel strip mode, vu-meter mode, transport controls, jog wheel, in and out point and - very limited - joystick)
Make it.

Well thats a bummer as Tascam in their wisdom seem to have pulled my 2 year old posting with detailed screen shots of my us2400 ableton live8 setup.
The link above doesnt take you to them !!

The Tascam forum went down some time ago, and all content was lost. What you see now on that site is the attempt by other people to revive the forum and retrieve the content from various dark corners of the web.

You don't happen to have saved a copy of these screenshots, do you?
Make it.
