Oh yes!!! Good stuff indeed. I'm addicted to nXtasy. For my 3rd plugin I chose the Spectralive NXT which appears to be an interesting (and fun) alternative to traditional aural enhancers/exciters.

Cheers!

Spectralive NXT is an excellent plugin, I use it often, very good for saturation/stereo widening and correcting phase issues, as well as some aural excitement etc. I sometimes use it in mix finalizing/mastering depending on the material.

If they let you have v3 of Spectralive NXT, that normally retails over 100 bucks by itself. I still use V2 because I can't afford to upgrade and until recently it was buggy and behind release schedule but I believe they've caught up with the (worst) gremlins now.

NewBV2 is a good bass enhancer too, doing a similar job to Waves Maxxbass (not quite as good, but still respectable for the money).

Sindo is an excellent stereo tool.

These are what I would suggest. I own all of the above and the spectraphy limiter. They are a decent company support wise and regularly offer existing customers big discount specials.

I prefer SpectraPhy LE (the Limiter) over SpectraLive (the finalizer). Id rather mix properly and then push it into a limiter, than stick SpectraLive on and expect it to tidy up. As of yet, Im yet to unleash the power in SpectraLive that everyone goes on about....

This gives you information on what the new version of Spectralive does.

Mostly it's an enhancer/saturator/exciter with some stereo tools. It helps with phase alignment too.

It won't magically turn a bad mix into gold though, and I avoid it's EQ (in v2 at least) like the plague.

I find it useful on certain material, but it's not a magic preset button to correct all flaws. You still have to experiment heavily with it to find the best result, but it can sometimes give a touch more cohesiveness and clarity to a mix on some tracks if used correctly.

What the hell do the knobs do in nXstacy v3? They have no labels and they have no names as host automation controls? WTF.

the simple answer is - try them out first (demo).

If they work and you like them, buy them and get in on a super cheap deal. Otherwise, move along.

I've never had any issues running my Crysonic plugins in Cubase, Live, Soundforge, Reaper or Renoise. Like anything else, YMMV. I have had a good customer service experience with them too. I've recently seen both Crysonic and RME (believe it or not) subjected to some real garbage at Gearslutz, with lots of abusive language and personal insults, mostly from people who have little clue and who haven't taken steps to deal properly with it in a respectful way with the company first, and both the Crysonic and RME guys then get defensive and stubborn in response.

You're much better served forming your own opinion by trialling these products than allowing KVR and Gearslutz to form your opinions for you.

Let's face it - Crysonic's apology on KVR is a rare thing and not really any different to how Ableton have handled their 'quality' statement on Live 8's failings.

You live and learn - I never buy any plugins without thoroughly demoing them beforehand. Almost everyone is going to have a problem with plugins at some time and this applies (maybe especially so) to the big name plugin manufacturers such as Native Instruments etc.

Hmmm strange I have exactly the same problem but with the other plugin (nXtasy V3).
It's a pity because I would love to use it.

I ordered the spectralive NXT V3.5 yesterday. Hope this one works.
Didn't try them with a demo because it was only €20.

I picked up Sindo V3 as part of the Audio Midi deal... I have to say that I really like this, as well as nXtasy. Both of those are going to be useful for me. I want to like Spectralive NXT3.5, but I honestly don't have a use for it right now, so I can be content with what I've purchased so far.

For $20, I feel like you can't go wrong...
