Nudge control on individual clips with warp turned off?

Post by TAPPY42 » Sun Mar 21, 2010 11:26 am

Is there a way to 'push and pull' individual clips (like a shove or a drag on a turntable) with the warp turned off? im enjoying an old school setup, with no warping and no quantizing at all, just launching tunes on my 'left' and 'right' tracks, and using the 'Detune' within the clip as a pitch control. I know you can use the scrub buttons to it's left, but you have to engage 'warp' for it to work, and in doing that i cant use the tap tempo for my delay without the whole thing going nuts.

is there a plugin that i can put on each chennel perhaps? i'm sure there must be a way......

Cheers in advance,

Simon

warp, and use a 3rd party delay plugin with its own built in tap function, rather than using Live's main tempo tap?
not ideal, i know. Live's delay devices could do with tap-tempo buttons of their own.
