So quick question, sorry if its been posted before did a quick search nothing came up.
Question is: I have a couple sliced up songs saved as a .ALS file, no biggie there. But now I want to combine 2 .ALS files into one .als file so would this double the memory space on my computer? thanks for the help
does saving multiple .als files together DOUBLE space?!?!

no, but nothing is foolproof to a talented fool.
.als files, clips etc only ever reference a single source file. so, if a sample is used in multiple clips or .als files it's not duplicated until you do a 'collect all and save' which will copy the sample into your project directory.

But "double posting" will definitively double space here...
