I have moved my slider in automation and when i try to edit it and view it I see a bunch of tiny points..I want to make a nice ramp of volume...How can I delete some automation without delete the audio?

you can click on each point and delete it. then, double click on the automation line to add a new point where you want the volume ramp to start and double click on the automation line to add a new point where you want the volume ramp to stop. you can now drag the first point up or down to the place you want the ramp to start and do the same for the second point.
