Re: LiveControl: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
Just updated to latest version, also having problems with master fader, clip launch are all messed up, worked perfectly prior to update. Vol faders on launcher also not working, no doubt bugs will be sorted, still awesome...

Make sure "using an ipad is ticked" then hit save configuration, then start live. Its not autosaving at the moment. Also did you go through the install tab again to overwrite the scripts?Dirty Fusion wrote:Just updated to latest version, also having problems with master fader, clip launch are all messed up, worked perfectly prior to update. GREAT app , good work
Have everything working here on win 7 64 bit with iPad and Iphone, but have no labels at all on clips or mixer channels..
presumably nothing at all is arriving FROM ableton, I am only sending data?
anything obvious I may be missing?
cheers

Re: LiveControl: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
youve most likely not got the correct receive port in TouchOSC (should be 5000/5001 in touchosc network settings) or the wrong remote ip in LiveControl (if using automatic configuration this'll be set automatically for you)vsukpadman wrote:GREAT app , good work

Just open the TouchOSC template and "bring to front". Save.LoopStationZebra wrote:Woops, on the keys screen one of the black (green, heh) keys is cutoff in the graphic.

@ST8
Again, Thank you for this amazing app!!!
I think there is a problem on the second(bottom) Keyboard. I think that C# is entered twice... there is no D. I played a C Maj scale on both keyboards. The bottom keyboard played C# twice. I am on Windows 7.
Thanks again

Re: LiveControl: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
I am wondering if it is possible to map the TouchOSC BeatMachine (or similar type of layout with pads) to Ableton's Drum Rack interface so the TouchOSC pads "automap" to the bank of selected drum rack pads in Ableton?
I understand that I can assign a midi note to a single TouchOSC pad, C-2, for instance, via OSCulator. This means that the TouchOSC pad will only trigger the drum rack pad that is assigned to note C-2, regardless which bank of pads is highlighted in Ableton.
Basically, I would like to mimic the Akai MPD or M-Audio Trigger Finger automapping functionality.
Thanks!
Adrian

Just open the TouchOSC template, click on the keys and you can just change the D key to the correct pitch, you'll see the c# and d key have the same name. Easy fix.ddavi78 wrote:@ST8

ST8-
this looks great! Was wondering, does your script support the output of clipcolors? i know they cant be utilized at this point using touch osc, but was thinking of possibly seeing if i could work something out with your clip colors using the ipad c74 app.
thanks
