Post subject: Does anybody use an m-box and does it do PRELISTENING
PostPosted: Sat Sep 28, 2002 10:44 pm
Since the ibook and the m-box guarantees 24 tracks with protools le and 32 tracks with osx i think it's an ideal combination - Live, Reason, and m-box- but does it do prelistening?????

The M-box only gives you one stereo output (AFAIK), meaning that it sends the same signals to both the line and headphone out. So this is physically impossible - the outputs simply aren't there.

As for the 32 track 'garantee', this figure is merely what the software will allow - depending on your system and the number of plugins you use, it is possible that won't be able to run that many.
