@3phase

Just to repeat, I completely agree with a proper Known Issues list...I've argued for it a few times in the past.
+1 for that. big time.

but it's not a 'known issue list OR changelog' situation. they're two different things covering similar ground. they can both save you time & money in different ways.

ummm... No sorry.

I mean, I read the changelogs. Anything I didn't understand through not experiencing it didn't confuse me or terrify me. I just kept reading the log, harvesting data pertinent to me.

I really don't recall anyone having the crap confused out of them by changelogs. ever. there's been more confusion over it's removal. The only time I recall changelogs inspiring confusion or terror is when users bugs still weren't fixed. Now ableton's official suggestion to those users who would eagerly peruse the changelog with fingers crossed, praying their issue to be resolved.... is to waste their time installing the update, at the risk of causing more issues, just to see if the one that's been annoying them for X amount of time is actually resolved.

8.1.3 seems to be a very stable release for me. GUI freezing problem when dragging with mouse button pushed has been fixed. No crashes/issues so far.

Great job.
