Release notes are vital. They allow us to see what issues that are fixed, discern which issues that are still there, and whether features have (OR HAVE NOT) been implemented. I would much rather have a change log to double-check against before a gig, rather than learn the hard-way during a gig. I could read through the BUGs forum, but with Live 8, that would take all the time I have.
A change log would also help folks that are waiting until "X issue" is fixed before they buy to make a smart, informed decision. I would imagine the heads at Ableton would want potential users opinions to be formed from Ableton's data instead of from a bunch of angry, screaming twats on a forum.
Bring back the change logs.
Do you want the CHANGELOG published with each update ?

15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

Uh... It's about time the Abes start posting detailed lists of all artificial flavours used in Live! Does it contain traces
of nuts? How many calories?
Re: Do you want the CHANGELOG published with each update ?
Thanks Dennis et al! I think a non-technical paper outlining major fixes will be sufficient for most of us.
Here's hoping that the 'consolidating clips shorter than 1 bar crash' has been fixed.

Let this thread and it's outcome be a lesson to all the fanatical nay-sayers. Honest feedback is good. And guess what, you folks don't have to read the changelog! (but you probably will lol)
