cut and paste?

Im here looking for help. 2 weeks ago i got live intro and an apc 40
very cool to play around with. Im now trying to do stuff like DJ Yoda, if any
know how i can go about plz help.
Am also taking classes in live starting next month

Cut and paste was the name of DJ Yoda"s CD
and the style he used

yes ctrl+c is copy not cut
ctrl+x is the real shit
on windows also worth mention shift+del -my personal favorite

well he uses samples, cuts them up and pastes them together. What more is there to know?
oh and obviously scratches... There really isn't any secret.
