Groove Extractor VST

I am looking for a nice, efficient VST that does groove extraction:

I want it to analyze the drum loop, find the transients, and all me to extract the groove to a MIDI file of the same length (2, 4, 8, 16 bars, whatever).

energy XT - I'm considering dropping the 50 bux for it .... if you own it, does it do that well? Good results? Easy to do?

I also could do this in Cubase, but I dont want to bring up taht whole thing as a seperate app ... too much ... needs to be a VST

Other suggestions? Thx

Not quite a groove extractor, but you can use Recycle (or energyXT's sampler) to slice the loop, and then create a midi file from it. This can then be translated to anything else you need.
