+3 The APC is the greatest all in one control solution I own now. I LOVE IT!

Tactile Knobs, Easy to assign to VSTs through custom racks, and the best knobs I've felt (other than moog knobs of course :)).

WIN

Nothing is killing anything. The more control options the better. Different applications.

If my APC40 broke I would cry... and then would have to go out and get a new one. It's too integrated into my set.

Since buying my APC-40 I can honestly say I have never had any issues going from studio to live. I love Akai products for the wear and tear they can endure.

Akai APC40 & MPK 25
NI Kontrol 1

APC plus MPK25. More knobs than you can shake a stick at. Totally love it.

If by that user you mean me, then no, the product itself is awesome, only problem is with this thing called "integration" - which is, and I will repeat my self, "complete sh&*$". It just looks like a developer had a spare time and a marketing director turned it in to a big fuzz or the developer started it as a serious "project" and then there was some other fuzz boiling up and this "project" was launched as is - unfinished.

What does the new MK 2 firmware enable exactly? Does it allow the mk2 to be seen by max for live? I own an mk1 and am frustrated that I can't see it in the max API.

If/When that occurs, just play it off legit. Claim 'dem chads as intentional and that they are there for aesthetic purposes and artistic integrity. Tell em you're a glitch master. tr?c tr?c

With Both being USB bus powered and Launch Pad's Note Mode. Will a Remote SL MK II and Launch Pad be worth dumping or not even purchasing the APC40?
...........Nah

the opposite happened for me. I got the APC and haven't touched the Novation SL ever since.
