just had that on 8.1.3 doing nothing in particular (just playing some samples of a drum rack).
maybe it's a new feature, i can't tell, we didn't get a changelog...

weird indeed.
i didn't lose any work, although the bug is occuring again and again on this set (even without the sequencer running!). so i just can't work on it anymore (bug report sent, but i'll probably have to wait 3 month for it being fixed)

the tempo field is not even midi-mapped or anything, i don't have any weird routing or m4l device. it just sets to 0BPM on its own.

i would LOVE to see that happen on stage...

I've always loved your slowdance sets though :)

seriously.. could you try to drag all tracks into a new set and see if it helps?

yeah, i'm about to create a new genre. it's not uptempo, not downtempo, it's NOTEMPO. :)

i may have found the culprit. i had automap running since i just updated the OS of my remoteSL. it didn't happen since i turned it off.
not an excuse though.

What happened to the audio when you hit 0 BPM? Did you make the sound barrier (as opposed to breaking it)?

Now the real problem here seems to be, that all the file menu items, have turned into incomprehensible text.

i suddenly heard the sound of infinity. a music no man has ever heard before. the ULTIMATE SOUND.
after that, i'll never make a note again.

is 20 bpm not the slowest that live can handle?

it means it went down to it's lowest setting while showing 0 bpm?

things like that are so annoying and really keeping you away from using it in important circumstances... oh well...

Damn,
I was hoping Ableton introduced tempos lower than 20

Come to think of it, has that been feature-requested yet ?
