Mackie Control Extender in Standalone mode?
I don't have it to test it out myself, but I was wondering if it was possible to use a Mackie Control Universal Extender in standalone mode. I've been reading online that it is possible, but you only have control of the first 8 channels. Is there a way to map a second midi controller to send messages that correspond to the MCU's bank-change commands? I plan on using it alongside a Remote SL61, and desk space is quickly becoming an issue, and hence me not needing the transport controls of the MCU Pro. Is anyone with an Extender willing to try running it standalone and changing banks from another midi controller for me? I'd appreciate it!
