Create your dream DAW ?

Post by dinaiz » Fri Jun 18, 2010 8:38 pm

Did you guys see this ?

http://www.springbeats.com/

They're asking for what you'd like in a "dream D.A.W" . It looks abit amateurish though ...

Loved those two questions :

Would you be ready to see ads in your software if it can make it cheaper ?

Would you be ready to pay a small amount every month instead of seeing ads ?

Excellent, yet another DAW in an over-crowded market.

Perhaps they'll make some VA's too!

Wow...just wow. That's a red flag waving if I've ever seen one. Get away! Fast!

If their inability to design a usable survey/spellchecker is anything to go by, I doubt they've a hit on their hands.

I don't think the DAW market is crowded at all if you come out with an innovative product.

Look at Ableton when they started. There's more ppl making music now. . .

And Ableton has pretty much been standing still for the last few iterations. . .
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.
