does anyone actually perform LIVE using Live?

I've been looking around for ideas for using Live (I own Live 8) in conjunction with Serato for my DJ gigs (house/edm/etc) - was inspired by seeing what Enferno does - musically that's not my style, but he has a really cool presentation.

So I went to look on YouTube to see what other people are doing live with Live to get a little inspiration. I was extremely surprised to find almost no real LIVE performances using Live - there are a ton of bedroom performances, demos at tradeshows, seminars, etc. but almost nothing out in front of people, e.g. in a club, a hall, etc. I'd love to see people actually using Live live, in a real public situation.

What gives, or are my searching capabilities off?

yes it seems like it is coming shortly,

but what about the last how many years - is it only Sasha and Enferno?

Hi Tunecrew, you might like to check out this video. It's not a gig, but its from the soundcheck of a gig.
There's some Dub techniques in there (All Hail Jamaica!! :D )

He does some talking about the APC40 and how they use it in a gig. There's a tiny bit of them actually using Live in the club, but in Electronic Music the songs are so long Youtube's 10 minute uploads are just going to be a bunch of edited moments strung together anyway....

I suspect a lot of acts use it behind the scenes, so it doesn't really show up in the video. Either someone is driving it from the front of house, or else the band is triggering it from MIDI, etc., but the computer is out of sight.

Bjork's guys were using it when I saw them a couple years ago (so it was said), same for Linkin Park. In those cases you could see a laptop if you looked real hard but it was way off the side, not at all front and center on the stage.

does anyone actually perform LIVE using Live?
well, yes I do, in fact this actual question/topic is to me indeed a bit strange sounding to me...

what do you mean with "perform live"?

=> in front of a public? (but without it, that would not really be live) (I do)
=> huge paid shows? (I don't)
=> more than playing 2 tracks together and adding effects? (I do)
=> more than pressing pads and triggering sequences and effects? (I do)
=> getting really far from the original tracks and sequences with live improvisation? (I sometimes do)
=> playing real instruments into live? (I don't)
=> getting wet, mad, hot, chilly?? (I do, got to wipe out the sweat from the controllers from times to times)
=> being able to mess up, like when playing the guitar and playing the wrong chord, then forgetting what's next measure, and failing the whole band with this memory loss?? (I do this very well)

i actually mean most of that

but if I use YouTube as my metric (an imperfect sample, but still a lot of data points) there don't seem to be a lot of people doing this in public in a commercial setting (concert, club, etc.)

i'm not dissing live, it just seems odd given that it is a software packaged designed for performance and accompanied by a raft of controllers also designed with performance in mind, e.g. apc-40, launchpad, etc.

I've seen TONS of people use Live, live.... here's some big names all who i've seen myself, using Live, live, at some VERY big festivals

Bassnectar
Tipper
The Bounce Brigade (i saw them tell the audience to applaud, then he recorded the applause, resampled, and mixed it... crazy stuff)
Bil Bless
Vibesquad
The Glitch Mob (they have ableton running in the back, controlled by Lemur's)
Depeche Mode (runs ALL their audio through Ableton tracks before being sent out of the speakers)
