Love the new smaller installation file. I've just noticed when you open a set with multiple missing VST's it now summarises the absent plugins in one popup. Not sure if this was done in 8.1.3 or 8.1.4 but I like.

Both 8.1.3 and 8.1.4 perfect for me. MBP 2.2 Ghz Core Duo, OSX 10.6.4, mostly Live devices, Edirol FA-66. Nice work.

Well, mostly perfect for me on Vista(32). I did have one weird incident (on 8.1.4) where the transport kept rolling in spite of hitting the stop button in the GUI and on my Axiom repeatedly. I attribute that to the Axiom though.
My Live sets don't consist of huge track counts but I do regularly use several instances of some very notoriously glitchy and CPU-hungry 3rd party plugins. i.e.- Crysonics, KTGranulator, TRacks3(with oversampling engaged), Amplitube, etc. The DPC latency utility shows regular spikes of 1 ms on my notebook yet I can still work glitch-free.

+1!
Before 8.1.4 you had to click "OK" every time Live couldn´t find a plugin which was used in that track and now you get kinda summarize popup and have to click just once. :D

8.1.4 is surprisingly stable for me - but I got hanging notes much much more than before. Now, I have made other changes in my setup, so I won't blame Ableton just yet. Anyone who also had a rise in hanging notes?

I've had problems with those all along on account of sustain pedal mostly, but sometimes of late I seemed to get them just by stopping playback in a certain position with pending notes. I don't seem to be getting it much in 8.1.5b2 though. Concerning sustain pedal, I posted a MIDI effect on Max4Live.com that helps with that...
