Can someone help me test these effects racks?

Post by Tarekith » Wed Jul 07, 2010 2:16 pm

Had a lot of people say they were not able to open my latest DJ EFX Racks, seems to be only Windows users though. They were created with Live 8.1.3, so you need to be on at least that version to use these. Tried contacting Ableton twice about the matter but have not heard back yet :(

Anyway, if you could just try and install the racks and let me know if it's successful or not I'd appreciate it. If you get an error message, please let me know what version of Live you're using, and what OS. Thanks!

I should be able to later this evening.
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

I'm on a Mac. It just works. Be careful how you hold it :wink:

Downloaded them fine. Before I drag these into my library;
Are these supposed to replace the older versions? Are there a couple new devices added?

I updated some of the devices, mainly to add colors and change some of the labelling of the macros. In terms of functionality, should work the same as the old versions.

So they worked ok for you? What OS are you using, and what version of Live?

8.1.4 suite on win 7 x32, unpacked into library and all that I've tried seem to work ok.
There's some cool racks in here, thanks Tarekith!

Thanks guys, seems to be only a few people on Windows having issues, not sure why though. If anyone else can help test, I'd really appreciate it!
