say i have 5 tracks running which i can find on different scenes.
i like the mix and want to record it.
before i can start a record session , i have to shut all tracks down and start them again. is this the way?

Think there are 2 possible answers to your question :

1/ You could use the "resample" route [aka the old way to render to disk]and than you can record in real time the master out without shutting down
2/ You can at any point record your interaction with the scenes into the arranger . Out of arranger you than can render the result to disk.

[Hope I understood your question well]

hi thx. guess you did not understand..
i start at the point with no previous recordings and arrangements--> fresh window.

and push a track before i push the record button. i have to stop the track again to make redording active.
