Midi clips to control VST (Amplitube 3 Xgear and Guitar Rig)

Hi there guys,

I'm getting seriously kicked in the a$$ by this software...

Ok, here's my setup:

Live 7
Amplitube 3 X gear
Guitar Rig 4
Tascam US122L
FCB1010 - configured to send midi notes on footswith 1-5 and CC changes through 6-10 (Ex. footswitch 6 send CC1 value 0, and CC1 value 127 - on/off type of action)

Basically, in another thread I asked some help for switching between clips in Ezdrummer, basically to be able to play along, which worked.

Now, the problem is, I can't assign any of the foot pedals to change presets, or move a single knob, within AMP3 or GR4!!!

I've read a lot about the importance of dummy clips, and I understand that I have to send the midi from one of those clips to the audio pluggin I want to control.

I'm missing something simple, I'm sure...

Anyone care to explain (with a couple of screenshots if possible) how can I achieve what I want?

I can assign the midi when running standalone versions of AMP3 and GR4, but not within Live 7.

Help? Anyone...
