it might happens in some circumstances,
please use the update button on the devices overview to be sure that it is refreshed.
We are going to enhance that very soon.

yes i have tried the update button and it still doesnt work... great app though! cant wait to see where you guys take this.

use the reload button on settings option menu, then you ll be sure that everything will be refreshed. Cause actually, it's more a liveAPI limitation than an issue from touchAble, hopefully next versions of live will fix that

for those who still run live version before 8.1.5 and downloaded the new scripts for update 1.1.1 before December 15th, We had to do some last minute fixes to our scripts to regain compatibility for Live version 8.1.1 - 8.1.4, so please download our server again, it will delete previous one and will install optimized scripts.

Bought an iPad today, specifically for TouchAble and TouchOSC. This app is AMAZING!!! I can sell almost all my MIDI hardware now. I'd like to see an X/Y pad too, as well as padKontrol-style roll and flam functions, but apart from that I think TouchAble is worth every penny!

If someone could try this it would be great..

With the multi-tasking features on the iPad, is it possible to run TouchAble AND TouchOSC and switch back and forth without much troubles?

Cause then things like X/Y pads or other certain feature requests could be sort of hacked together in the meantime in TouchOSC , if it's not too much of a pain to switch between the two apps..

No problem at all, touchAble & touchOSC work perfectly together.

Since MFL as far as I can recall, but it may have been there before that.
ST8's (free) LiveControl already allowed this, but the features were limited to what is possible with TouchOSC. Now ST8 and Liine have teamed up for this MIDI editor and its really solid.
Looking forward to what else these guys will cook up.
