i am stuck and really frustrated now, basically what i am trying to do is have a plugin on a return track i want a clip to receive signal from and i also want to envelope the ammount of that signal from 100 down to 0 (where in the end the clip returns to its original state), at the 100 percent point i want the signal to be fully covered and modified by the effect, but when i draw the envelope i still have the original signal playing along the affected audio...hope i explain it well enough to get the picture, also experimenting i found out that if i use the plugin on the clip track i get the desired effect and once i drag it over to the return track it passes through the original input signal...
sorry if i dont exactly use the right terminology, but i hope someone can help me, really gutted about that)))
