Post by BoxDJ » Wed Aug 18, 2010 8:47 am

Hello all, I'm looking for an 8 bit style drum vst. I've been in an 8 bit mood lately.

Not free, but close enough; there's a demo pack to.

I downloaded a Casio SA-10 sample pack a while ago, mainly for nostalgic reasons (used to have one when I was a kid).
The drum sounds are as lo-fi as it gets, and there are those great "Super Accompaniment" loops I used to get my groove on to when I was 5 or something, mindlessly banging on the keys to this freaky buzzing that came out of the tiny speakers, driving my parents mad regularly. Well, they were the ones that bought the damn thing.
Anyhoo, let me just dig out the link for you...

There you have it.

Of course, you could feed just about anything into Redux, like the other guys suggested. ;)
