O won it with my classical pop drum and bass, suck my dirty mixing fingers douche bags.

That was the most wrong thing i posted in 2010.

But also possibly the funnest...

Excellent trolling by the OP :)
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

from what i can tell, the intention seems to be to promote good music.. and to get a better idea of who's who on this forum..

there's a whole lotta talking going on in here but in the end - who can create music?

I don't see how that's possible since everybody can vote

Everyone who's been on this forum for more than a few weeks knows who's who and what their music sounds like.

Whether the intention was good or not, you don't start adding in a banned list of ridiculous arbitrary genres (do you want to ban people with prosthetic limbs, spectacles, anyone who looks vaguely emo too etc) if you want to be taken seriously.

Also - show us the money ...

We're a wicked lot on here and cut people down with wit (or plain old abuse) who mess up. That's life on this forum. Get a thick skin and deal with it or bugger off somewhere else where people will happily kiss your ass.
