Yep !

Sample rate is some thing expressed in Hz or Khz and is in general 44100 hz or 96000 hz. You've got to check that it's the same, in the Live audio preferences and in the Windows preferences

I meant to say output buffer size which is actually set at 752 samples giving me a tolerable 17.1 ms latency. I could probably fiddle with it to get a more exacting setting but for now, it is working adequately.

OK but your initial problem isn't latency, but the fact that 2 applications (live and your internet browser) cannot play sound at the same time, or did I miss something ?

Therefore, using ASIO4ALL, if Live and Windows have the same sampling frequency (typically 44100 or 960000 hz for both) you should be able, using asio4all to have live and your browser playing sound at the same time :-)

752 samples is not going to be a real world round trip 17.1 ms latency.

That would be the ONE WAY latency (input or output). You have to add those together plus any other hidden buffers and converter latency to get the real figure, which is probably more like 40-45ms.
