hehe I've always wanted a tuner too.

Whats wrong with spectrum analyzer? I'm not a guitarist mind you...

Spectrum analyzer more or less works, but I find it hard to get the kind of precision you need for tuning a stringed instrument using the analyzer alone.

I would love an in-built tuner in Live - if nothing else, it would make pitching Sampler samples way easier.

Can't say that often enough. I often catch myself opening Guitar Rig just for the sole purpose of tuning my instruments or samples.

I always tuned to mains hum (G) or had a keyboard player in the band, never did have a tuner till I bought a Pod.

Pish =) Tuners are for poofs! You only need to be in accurate tune if you have a keyboard player and, as any fule kno, keyboard players are poofs! Otherwise it just has to be good enuff for rock'n'roll.

 ha ha very rock and roll! Like it.

actually I've rarely ever used tuners… more likely to get an E from somewhere, maybe load in a piano or synth or Electric in Ableton if there isn't one around somewhere, then tune the rest to itself

not that I don't think a tuner would be a good idea… I will admit if I'm doing a 'proper' take for a recording then I'll use the one in Guitar rig to be extra precise

Would that be American or European mains hum?

That's a very good point! If I had ever toured US what would have happened... Google time... be right back...

Ok, in UK (I'm a Brit) it is 50hz, in US it is 'usually' 60hz, so I would have been playing sharp!
