Custom mappings

Post by Laura_Live » Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:29 pm

I would like to map a plugin to my MPK49 surface so that whenever I switch to a track that contains that plugin, my programmed mappings apply..

Is this possible ?

How do I do this ?

I htink that the MPK49 is in the list of supported control surfaces. So add that in your control surfaces. Make sure you're on the template that works with Ableton live's instant mappings. And then add the plug-in parameters to the device by turning on 'configure' and clicking the parameters. You can also drag them around after they are added. Now those parameters will be automatically controllable from your MPK49 when selected.I save all my plug-ins as racked devices so I can remember my parameter configurations.
