I have not noticed any sound quality loss. Sounds the same as without jack.

but it did in the early versions even when claiming neutrality.. however such open source things are no comercial build software.. and even comercial software sometimes claims perfect operation too early..
i however try to avoid the jack server aslong as possible. i ve enough shaky software on my computer allready.. with a llopback inside the dsp of my hammerfall i am defently on the safe side

EDIT: Maybe it's because Soundflower can start distorting the audio after a while... Just experienced this last night. Did some research & it's a documented problem. I'll have to give Jack a try -if I can decipher the instructions!
