i wouldn't mind a, um, fat phatty but i don't have the space.

plus a moog at that price is not something to be sniffed at.

I love it. Now the price of a used lil phatty will drop to 600 or less

Thanks for the heads up!! Wish I would have known sooner - been out of touch w/news and events for a while. Hopefully they'll run it again next year.

Maybe I can get the Slim into the budget soon.

How are the encoders on the Phattys? Are those tweakable in real time or just for dialing in values (like on mopho module or prophet non-PE model..)?

I am thinking of trading my virus C to an phatty or MöPhö KB just for the fatness.. :twisted:

If you mean it sounds wee-wee compared to a phatty you and SOS would be correct.

um, wrong. the mopho obviously sounds different because it isn't a moog. it certainly doesn't sound wee-wee.
the problem with the slim phatty is that you can't do much with it. it's got extremely limited modulation options.
considering you can get a mopho kb for £550 compared to £700 or whatever for the phatty i just don't think it offers enough to compete.
