Cool video, very straight to the point and efficient. Didn't know about that Default SR & Pitch Conversion thing. Nice to know!

Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for the feedback, I invite you to post one yourself and show us all how it's done. I always like to see how other producers design their sounds. Cheers mate.

Great video! Learnt so much from this.

One important tip was left out though: choosing the right warp mode for your clip to get the best sound quality.

Yep, for sure. I also forgot to mention upping the project sample rate. I'll make a note of these ones for next time. Cheers!

so you just missed the 2 most important aspects.. not bad for a start..

however you also should overthink the advice to upsampling to 48 k before passing to a mastering studio that downsamples it back to 44,1 k.
That dont really makes much sense or do you really think that an upsamplig by 4 k will justify the additional samplerate coversion that has to follow?

correct advice would be to render in 88,2 k... however..live is not bugfree in that department and some eq freq and sidechains will operate on the wrong frequencys than..so you actually shouldnt render in rates you have´nt monitored before hand with your audio interface..

however not a big problem since allmost all interfaces can run doublerates by now..

You might use your vip communications channels to make ableton fix the samplerate related bugs they fail to recognize..

see what happens with side chained filterings when doubling the samplerate... maybe the listen to a rainer..and you show some insights in the program this way
