then again there is this Terratec one as well....

I suppose one thing that could let these down would be crap high latency drivers, or maybe thats not the case, they dont seem to use ASIO anyway, maybe "ASIO 4 ALL" would sort them out :P

checkout the M-Audio Sonica Theatre.
$99 here in the US. USB, great if you need 2 to 4 stereo pairs of outs.
small too!

i don't own one "yet"
but i did borrow one for a week while on tour, just to "try before i buy", and didn't have any issues with it in 2 gigs (2 to 2.5 hours per gig) outputting at 16bit/48khz 2 stereo pairs (1 mains, 1 cue)

i ran it at 10ms output latency. I think at those settings i was able to get down to 6ms (maybe less with ASIO4ALL), but i always add a little bit for Live sets, just to have that buffer zone and piece of mind that i wont get a glitch in front of a crowd.

I can't speak for using more than 2 stereo outs at a time, as i didn't try, but i can say that 16bit/48khz, 2 stereo outs is solid as a rock on XP. Its capable of 24/96 but i wouldnt expect to get that kind of operation on more than 1 pair of stereo outs at a time.

and 10ms "usable" output latency is actually pretty acceptable for USB, let alone a $99 usb card.

cool, looks like I might get one then, 10ms is ok by me... + ill never run it at anything else but 44.1 16 bit either....

ive been thnking about the best way to DJ with Abelton & im starting to think that going down a DJ mixer is probably the best route for me, id still need a midi controller for some stuff though..
