I bought a mac vga adaptor for $49, I can now use any monitor. The price is a bit steep I know, but I can't wait for the 'made in China' to come out. :D

Happy owner of a Samsung XL2370, everything is perfect except the lack of a VEGA mount or the lack of adjustably on the stand.

IPS screen are best of course but for Ableton any screen will do. It`s not graphic design, you dont need the color accuracy.

I use a 30inch Dell though, got it for 800$ 3 years ago. Best deal ever. Best quality too as Dell 30inch dont have the light spill Apple 30inch suffer.

I dont care about Dell computers but their monitors are great, especially the UltraSharp series.

The new 27inch is only 600$ here in Japan. This is an incredible deal.

Don't forget that the Apple 27" has a 2560 x 1440 resolution. if you can find a monitor with this resolution which is substantially cheaper, please let me know!

I'm a huge fan of the 27" and 28" models out there with 1920x1200 resolution. I'm running a Hanns-G HG281D. Have heard good things about the Samsung model too.
