Exporint to .WAV - Controling Quality & Pitch

Post by yanivbd » Thu Dec 02, 2010 8:52 am

Hello to all ableton users and support,

Details:
1. I have ableton Live 8 and another sequencer (e.g. cubase)
2. Operation System: Win XP Pro
3. Sound Card: Native Inst' Audio Kontrol 1
4. Professional Headphones - sennheiser

The case:
I found interesting sound sample in ableton and i export it to .wav (so i can merge it in cubase).
when i heard it(sound sample)in Live under the session/arrangement view the quality of that sound was fine, but when i hear it after export, it sound not so well/bad.

More than that, it seems that the exporting also cahnging the Pitch, because when i play some song in cubae and in real time also play the sound sample in Ableton, the pitch is totaly ok (the cubase song and the ableton sound sample are synchronized: pitch/BPM), BUT when i export it, the pitch is changed

what sould i do to make the wav export file sound totally/as much as possible, equal to when i hear
it in real time???

please help

thanks

make sure you have the "warp" box in the clip view deselected.
