ive seen a variety of instruments now that have some sort of ribbon controller to create a strum effect by (i imagine) delaying/adding incoming midi notes to create realistic sounding guitar "strums" to instruments. has anyone made anything like this in live? ive been able to fake it by doing things with live's arpeggiator set to not link to the host tempo, but i imagine there is something much easier that could be programmed with M4L, or is there something out there i dont know about?
