Why not rack a bunch of compressors each with different sidechain inputs and spread them out on the chain selector? Then map the chain selector to a macro.

Thanks - tried and my solution is:

1 effect rack with 4 compressors - each compressor different input channel (1-4)
on the 8 switches I have now for each compressor 1 switch for the threshold and 1 switch for the output-gain.

The only thing you have to do now when you put a new sidechain-effect-rack into a track, is to select on each compressor the input channel - even when you copy/paste it from track 1 to track 2 in the live-set. and that's for each track you put this effect rack in.

But the rest works perfect - exactly what I'm looked for. :D :D :D
