Post by jrmac56 » Wed Dec 15, 2010 9:04 am

Hi,

This is a propper newbie question. As i've just started out in this i have no idea where to look...

Where i the best place to find plugins like the Moorg/synth etc etc... I keep on seeing these plugins in video turorials and don't know where they come from.

Any help will really appreciated..!

Yes Google is a strong option.

Have a look over on KVR, the plugin database... http://www.kvraudio.com/

Searchable... http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php

Forgive me for being cynical...

But do you mean "where can I buy plug-ins from?", or do you mean "where can I download cracked versions of plug-ins from?"

If you are talking about soft synths and paying for them try:

www.gforcesoftware.com
impOSCar,Oddity

www.arturia.com
Prophet V, Analog Factory, Origin, Jupiter-8V, CS-80v, ARP2600 V, Moog Modular V, minimoog V

www.native-instruments.com/
Various plugins

There are also a load of freebies
If you can get hold of a copy UK magazine COMPUTER MUSIC
is a good place to start with free ones./

I find that VST Cafe is a great resource for good free and cheap VSTs, the guy that runs it seems really clued up and unlike a lot of the other VST sites he only lists VSTs that he thinks are actually decent.... but there are a bunch of other sites out there too.

Live 7.0.18 | Axiom 61 | Launchpad | Homous | Nanokontrol | Saffire 6 | Ibanez Jazzmaster Bass | Biscuits
Soundcloud (solo stuff) | One Gear Go (my band)
