Cableguys Curve 1.0!

Post by djsynchro » Sat Dec 18, 2010 10:22 pm

The beta was always one of my favourites a really synthetic glassy cold (but in a really beautiful way) sounding synth version 1.0 got launched the waveform nodes can be automated with VST envelopes niiiiicccceeee!!!! I wasn't looking to buy anything I'll have to get this in January. Really fast (for me) to get great sounds. If you like Operator give this a spin.

that look really nice. im waiting from years a bezier synth with animatable nodes and handles.
not that yet, but will definitely test.
i profit from this to ask
if some know any bezier synth (wavform generation) or bezier amplitude envelope generator vst please tell me.
Audio world really lack of bezier, Image world uses them from years..

i cant believe these guys are giving away the demo, limit to only not saving or sharing presets, and 1 instance. I like the sound.

thanks 33tetragammon, i know booth. they can draw wavforms via curves but not via real beziers.
i mean a real bezier with two handles both sides like in graphic softwares such as illustrator.

The waveform nodes are automatable VST parametrs; perfect with Ableton's clip envelopes, and every oscillator can have a custom wave. The LFO's can modulate into the audio range.

I find Curve's drawing even more flexible, but if you want to have the bezier thing, do this: Create 2 sharp points, that's points where the wave has to go through. Create a soft point between these sharp points and move it. You'll see that this soft point behaves similar to a handle in a bezier curve.

Just wanted to let you know that we introduced a Cableguys Bundle two days ago. It contains Curve, FilterShaper and VolumeShaper. You can get it for a special introductory price of EUR 129/USD 174 until March 1st. Check: http://www.cableguys.de

Also, we updated all our effects, FilterShaper, VolumeShaper and the free PanCake; now they also support AU, have undo/redo for waveform drawing and got tons of tweaks under the hood.
