I would look at the feature list of each program your considering, try the demos, and pick the one that you think is the most intuitive. That's what I did. My first foray into the DAW world was with PRO TOOLS LE.... I hated it. I spent most of my time trying to learn the software and none making music. I finally gave up and returned it. I tried out ableton live when the lite version came with my MPK 61 controller. To me, using it came so naturally and I loved the layout. I was making music the first day. Now, live is the only DAW i use.
Just remember: No DAW will make music... that part is completely located behind the keyboard.
