8O Honestly, that guy bugged the crap out of me for some reason... I got into it with him a couple times pretty hot and heavy. But this is still shocking and sort of strange to hear. Now I feel bad that I got into it with the guy. Sorry dude... Life is so short and you never know when someone is just gonna leave us for good.

With that being said.. Best wishes to his friends & family :!:

He's also "LQM" on Gearslutz if you want to pay some respects over there as well...

See you on the other side!

Wow... Martin was always very helpful to me, mostly behind the scenes in PM's. Seems to me that he gave a lot to people simply out of his passion for music and audio. Sad for all concerned.

Very, very sad. He brought a lot of knowledge and skill and shared freely with all.

The forum is poorer this day. :(

Three things about LQM stand out for me:

1 - Constant ragging on Deadmau5 (oh well, nobody's perfect)

2 - a total LOVE of music (he got in touch and remastered one of my tunes just because he was into it)

3 - Like me, he was a Leeds fan

RIP Martin.

This is truly sad news - our prayers go out to his wife and family.

My memorable interaction with Leeds came after I made a sweeping generalized slander against Dell computers.
Leeds immediately schooled me.
Not just about such rash generalizations, but also how his and his wife's Dell machines were rocking hard.
I apologized, as I meant no personal insult and we shared a chuckle.
Good natured and informative - he will be missed.
