It's really hard to know what to say. I just saw the news on neb's forum and I'm still reeling. He's been around as long as I can remember and I always had total respect for him.

He often mentioned poor health, but never let on it was that serious.

He will be sorely missed.

Deepest condolences for his wife.

I agree with Angstrom I feel like we need to so something.

Very sad.

Very very sad but happy to have "known" him through the forum. Super cool guy.

He very recently recommended some music to me that he said gave him the chills. I really liked his recommendations but never let him know. Gonna pick up those tunes in his honor. Very best to his family!

uhhhhhh.... this knocks the breath out of me...

leeds was a good soul. he mastered some of my tracks. he even did a great guitar solo on one of them. I've taken them down due to issues with the other half of LiquidLab, but I'll be glad to put them back up... at bare minimum I'll post a link to the one with his guitar solo.

he was always cool... and the few times he did go off to one side or the other overly heated (that I saw)... he always came back to center. fast. one of, if not THE MOST, helpful souls I've seen post here.

sadly I was just thinking about him this week and that he was due for another personal contribution. most of us know his struggles with the job market etc. despite this, he contributed to my learning and my music and never asked me for a dime. I had to drag his paypal info out of him. he asked me not to share that then so that he would not be enamoured with others requesting the same. I'm sharing it now simply to illustrate his kind heart and love of all things music (except deadmau5). I had a great respect for that man and wish that I would have sent some Christmas cheer while I still had the chance instead of just thinking about it in traffic. Never miss an opportunity to do something good. You never know if that person will be gone...

I'm shocked.

If the hat goes round as Anstrom suggested... I'm in. I've been staying away from the forum for various reasons, but Tarekith you might still have my contact info if it comes to that... if not, then Tone Deft... I'm lookin at you if I'm not on the signup sheet... please shoot me an email or give a shout.

RIP Martin Brown - may the music take you to peace at last.

very sad. He was one of the good guys.

The forum is diminished by his absence.

Just in case anyone missed it (because it took me a while before I found it), there is a link on that page to a homepage with a lot more tracks on it http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... dID=481882

and the music page has more info on each of them: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... tent=music

Didn't expect this. The guy was really out there helping out all the time. The best part was how down to earth and candid he was.
Very sad day.

That is very sad indeed.. I had a few words of communication with the guy and he liked my music.

I shall dedicate a piece to him.

Sincere condolences to his wife and family.

I've seen friends and family members go too soon. My condolences go out to his friends and family in their time of mourning.

Shocking news ... Rest in peace.

I'm guessing that heaven for him will involve a studio of some kind...
The forum has lost one of the experts and his wife and relatives I truly feel for.

This is terrible. He will be so missed. I'm shocked. I feel for his wife...how horribly sad. He was such a great presence around here. I never met him beyond this forum and the Cubase forum, but man did he seem like a truly nice and thoughtful and intelligent guy.

RIP Martin
